Positive policies continue to heat up, and air source heat pumps are entering the fast lane of development

Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the implementation plan for promoting green and low-carbon standardization in industry and information technology. The plan points out that key common technologies should break through standards, accelerate the development of standards for electric heating equipment, heat pumps, high-power electric storage boilers and other electric energy replacement process equipment, accelerate the improvement of environmental protection equipment product performance, application selection and effect verification standards, and establish a standard system for cultivating high-quality enterprises and evaluating industrial clusters. In addition, the energy efficiency limit values and energy efficiency grades of heat pump water heaters are also classified as the "Key Research Direction of Industrial and Information Green Low Carbon Standards (2025-2027)".

From a regional perspective, government departments in Shandong, Taiyuan in Shanxi, Foshan in Guangdong, Chongqing, Sichuan, Inner Mongolia, Harbin in Heilongjiang, and other places have successively introduced policies related to energy, housing, and other fields. Through various forms such as publishing notices, recommended catalogs, and local standards, they are making every effort to promote energy structure optimization and large-scale energy-saving equipment updates, pressing the accelerator button to achieve the "dual carbon" goal.

In addition, Jiang Yi, an academician of the CAE Member, vice chairman of the China Urban Heating Association, director of the Heating Technology Special Committee, and professor of the Building Energy Efficiency Research Center of Tsinghua University, made a speech entitled "Zero carbon Path of Industrial Production Heat" at the "China International Zero carbon Heating Summit Forum - International Conference on Urban Low carbon Integrated Energy System and Heating Safety Guarantee". He introduced the main preparation methods of industrial production heating, the challenges faced by steam used in industrial production, and bluntly stated that "the traditional path has come to an end, and heat pumps are the only possible breakthrough".
