The "Energy saving Services for Enterprises" and High temperature Heat Pump and Industrial Application Development Forum were successfully held

In order to implement the concept of green and low-carbon transformation and promote large-scale equipment updates, the "Energy Saving Services for Enterprises" and High Temperature Heat Pump and Industrial Application Development Forum, jointly organized by the Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center and the China Energy Conservation Association, was successfully held in Shanghai recently.Heat pump technology is the best way to efficiently convert electrical energy into thermal energy, with significant advantages in energy conservation and carbon reduction, and meets the needs of the development of end use electrification. Driven by the policy of large-scale equipment updates, the use of heat pumps to replace coal-fired, oil fired, gas-fired boilers or electric stoves to provide heat energy, combined with energy storage, green electricity, etc., provides various types of heat needed for industry and buildings to meet the heat demand of building heating, domestic hot water, and various industrial production processes. This will greatly reduce the consumption of fossil fuels in China and help achieve the "dual carbon" goal.The Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center stated that in recent years, Shanghai has taken the "dual carbon" work as a guide and actively laid out a new green and low-carbon track. Faced with the current new situation and tasks, it will promote technological innovation, deepen project promotion, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industrial industries. At the same time, we will fully leverage Shanghai's advantages in talent and technology, market mechanisms, international cooperation, etc., and further deepen, refine, and implement the work of "industrial low-carbon, low-carbon industrialization".This forum released a roadmap for the development of heat pumps in China's industrial sector. By analyzing the prospects and key areas of heat pump development, enterprises are encouraged to strengthen core technology breakthroughs, improve the heat pump industry chain, perfect the relevant technical standard system, and fully leverage government leadership and market mechanisms to form an effective incentive and restraint mechanism for heat pump development.The forum also invited keynote speeches from the National Energy Conservation Center, China Energy Conservation Association, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, North China Electric Power University, Midea Building Technology, Danfoss, Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliances (42.180, 0.14, 0.33%), and Qingdao Hisense Hitachi, aiming to promote the research and development, demonstration, and large-scale application of key heat pump technologies, and promote the healthy and orderly development of the industry.
